Hadrian Deck Safety System
The Hadrian Mini travelling deck safety system has been developed specifically for the smaller inshore patrol & rescue craft, typically up to 12m in overall length. Offering all of the features and benefits of its renowned big brother, the Hadrian Pilot, Hadrian's new Mini system also conforms to the same standards and SCV code of practice.
Benefits of the Hadrian Mini
Using the same configuration of X section rail, 4 wheeled carriage and system components as the Hadrian Pilot, the Hadrian Mini system is 30% smaller than the Pilot system, making it lighter and less expensive. Its reduced size makes it more suitable for the narrow side decks and working areas of smaller commercial and leisure craft operating in lighter sea conditions.
The SCV Code of Practice Requires
"An efficient, uninterrupted/continuous safety rail system for clip-on safety harness should be provided. The system should allow the harness traveller to move freely and without adjustment over the full length of the safety rail. The rail system, its attachment to the vessel structure, and clip-on safety harness should be designed, constructed, installed, tested and maintained to the appropriate personal protective equipment standards, to the satisfaction of the Certifying Authority."
